In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Townsend Police and Fire
Departments are delighted to announce their participation in the Pink Patch Project, which will
assist raise funds for Chemo Care Packages and gas gift cards for cancer patients in need in the
community. The PINK Revolution Breast Cancer Alliance of New Hampshire is a non-profit
organization created in Brookline, New Hampshire. They have set a goal of generating 1,500
chemo care packages (for ALL sorts of cancer patients) and providing 800 gas gift cards to those
who require assistance with transportation to and from Chemo treatment. The comfort packages
and gas cards are sent to community-supporting local oncology centers. 100% of the funds will
be used to purchase items for care packages or gift cards. The Townsend Police had tremendous
success with this fundraiser last year, selling out of all patches. Their dedication to raise funds
for such a worthy cause motivated us to join them. Collectively, we hope to raise twice as much!
