The Madera County Probation Department is located in the heart of California.  Our mission is to encourage postive change in the lives of offenders through Collaborative Partnerships, Evidence Based Practices, and Corrective Services.  As one component of a complex system of justice, we strive for excellence by providing innovative programming, protecting the citizens of Madera County from harm by criminal offenders, by discharging the duties assigned to us by California statutes, and recommending actions which offer the greatest potential for positive change for the offender, when potential for such change is seen to exist, without placing the citizens in harms way.
This is Madera County Probation Department's first year participating in The Pink Patch Project. Our goal is to raise funds to donate to a local Breast Cancer Center.  Madera County Probation has entered the fight against Breast Cancer and seeking a cure.  We hope by wearing our Pink Patches we bring attention to the fight against breast cancer within our community and encourage our community to support breast cancer research in finding a cure.
