The Town Of Middletown Police Department is committed to serving our 1,350 residents with integrity and to proactively police our neighborhoods to prevent crime. We strive to build positive and strong relationships with numerous agencies including the Frederick County Sheriff's Office, Lord Fairfax Police Department, Rappahanock Regional Criminal Justice Academy, Stephens City Police Department, Strasburg Police Deparment and the Virginia State Police. We are a small, quaint town in the northern Shenandoah Valley at the confluence of two major highways, I-66 and I-81. Under the visionary leadership of Mayor Charles Harbaugh IV and Police Chief Gary Benedict, Jr. the department is thrilled to be the second agency in the state of Virginia to be apart of the pink patch project.
