Anoka County Sheriff's Office

The Anoka County Sheriff's Office is located north of Minneapolis and is part of the seven county metro area.  Anoka County consists of 21 cities and townships and covers 440 square miles.  The population is over 352,000.  Many of the Anoka County Sheriff's Office employees have been directly impacted or had family members impacted by cancer.  In past years, there has been a pink lapel pin fundraiser that was offered to employees.  This year, we decided to add a pink patch and offer them to the public.  We have a very limited number of pink patches which are available for purchase in person.  All proceeds will benefit the Jimmy V Foundation for cancer research.

Cottage Grove Police Department

Cottage Grove is a growing community in the Southeast Twin Cities metropolitan area. Our Police Department provides law enforcement services for over 35,000 residents covering an area of approximately 37 square miles. 2019 is our inaugural year with the Pink Patch Project and we are the first participating agency within Washington County. The Cottage Grove Public Safety Board is selling our pink patches to help raise money for public safety families who are dealing with cancer and in need of financial support. By purchasing one of our pink patches, you will help us build community relations and support our efforts to honor the memory of the wife of one of our patrol sergeants who lost her battle with cancer in 2018.

Crosby Police Department

The Crosby Police Department is locate in Central Minnesota. The Crosby Polcie Depatment prooudly serves the nearly 2500 citizens of the City of Crosby along with the citizens of the surrounding Cuyuna Lakes Area and the tens of thousands of vistors to the area each years. 
The Crosby Police Department's Pink Patch Project program raises funds for the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center's Courage Cabinet that raises funds to assist cancer patients with their everday expenses as they do battle with cancer.

Dakota County Sheriff's Office

Dakota County Sheriff's Office was the first Sheriff's Office in the state to think pink! 
Our mission is to provide professional, progressive, and proactive service while maintaining the public trust.
Dakota County has grown to be the third most heavily populated county in the state, following Hennepin and Ramsey counties. It is the fastest-growing county (numerically) in the State of Minnesota. The Dakota County Sheriff's Office has grown to include nearly 200 employees.

Farmington Police Department

The Farmington Police Department serves the City of Farmington, Minnesota, a southern Twin Cities suburb of approximately 23,000 residents. 2019 was our first year in the project and we look forward to another successful year in 2020.  Together with several other Dakota County Agencies, we raise money for the American Cancer Society. In 2020 we are selling and wearing recreated shoulder patches based on a patch worn from 1964-1971.

Forest Lake Police Department

The Forest Lake Police Department serves approximately 21,000 Forest Lake residents and covers 36,000 square miles.
2020 is the first year FLPD has participated in the Pink Patch Project!  100% of patch sales will go directly to American Cancer Society.

Goodhue County Sheriff

The Goodhue County Sheriff's Office is located in Red Wing, Minnesota which is about halfway between Minneapolis and Rochester on the Wisconsin border.   We serve 46,000 residents and cover 780 square miles.  2021 is the first year we are involved in the Pick Patch Project and hope to continue for many years to come! 
We have dedicated this year's fundraising to Pay It Forward-Red Wing.  This organization was established by two families who each lost their mothers to breast cancer. Their mission is provide financial assistance to individuals struggling to make ends meet while battling cancer.

Hennepin County Sheriff's Office

Headquartered in the heart of Minneapolis, the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office serves the 1.3 million residents of Minnesota’s most populous county. Sheriff David P. Hutchinson was elected in 2018 to lead the fine men and women of our agency as they serve and protect all in our community by furthering equal justice, safety and wellness.Our roughly 830 employees connect with our citizens across the whole county whether on the roadways, in a courtroom, and even on the water. We are proud to partner with the Pink Patch Project to work together to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.

The Inver Grove Heights Police Department is just south of St. Paul MN, with an population of approximately 35,000 residents. 2021 will be our first year involved in the Pink Patch Project and we hope we can make a difference raising awareness and with donations.

The Minnetrista Public Safety Department proudly serves the cities of Minnetrista and St. Bonifacius. The Public Safety Department consists of a Director of Public Safety, Lieutenant, a Sergeants, eight Police Officers, two Community Service Officers, and two secretaries. The Minnetrista Public Safety Department is committed to protecting life and property, providing professional police service and strengthening partnerships.  The department provides law enforcement services to approximately 10,000 residents.  This is our first year participating in the Pink Patch Project.  We are dedicating this years fundraiser to the American Cancer Society.

Mounds View

The Mounds View Police department is located in Ramsey County, and is a western suburb of the Twin Cities. The Mounds View Police Department currently serves around 13,000 citizens. The department consists of 21 sworn Officers which include our Chief and Deputy Chief, Investigators, K9 Officers, and Patrol Officers. The Mounds View Police Department is very excited for our first year of participation with the Pink Patch Project. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Ortonville Police Department

The Ortonville Police Department is located in west central Minnesota and the county seat for Big Stone County on the South Dakota boarder. The department provides law enforcement services for a population of approximately 2,000 people.
This is the departments second year that we will be part of the Pink Patch Project.
We have dedicated this year's fundraising to all of our residents who are fighting their own battle right now.

Rosemount Police Department

Our department serves the city of Rosemount, a southern Twin Cities suburb of just under 25,000 people in Dakota County. We were the first agency in Minnesota to join the Pink Patch Project in 2017. In the past two years (and with the help of newly joined Hastings Police Department in 2018) we have raised approximately $10,000 for American Cancer Society. We annually participate in their Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. We sell patches and challenge coins to raise funds. It is a voluntary initiative for our officers with nearly 100% participation.  The Dakota County Sheriff's Office, Hastings Police Department and Farmington Police Department have joined us in our Pink Patch Project campaign.

Saint Paul Fire Department

The Saint Paul Fire Department is the Fire and EMS service for the capital city of Minnesota. The Department began in 1873 and serves a current population of over 300,000 residents. We have 447 sworn personnel and operate out of 15 stations. We respond to over 47,000 calls for service each year, have active public education and prevention programs, and partner with departments across the state in our all-hazards response. 
In the past few years we have developed a Cancer Task Force to work on prevention and early detection of firefighter cancer. We have several members who have battled cancer while on the job or in retirement. Additionally, like most of the public, we have loved ones who have been affected by cancer. We are committed to raising awareness, funds, and taking action to prevent all cancers.
2020 will be our first year as a member of the Pink Patch Project, and the funds we raise will go to the American Cancer Society. We have multiple law enforcement agencies in Minnesota that are already members of Pink Patch, but we will be the first Minnesota Fire Department in the project and hope others will join as well!

Saint Paul Police Department

The Saint Paul Police Department is in the great State of Minnesota, and is the capital city.  The department provides Trusted Service with Respect for our 315,000 residents.
This is our first year joining the Pink Patch Project and we are very excited to join the fight and assist those in need.

Savage Police Department

The Savage Police Department is in Scott County, Minnesota. The Savage Police Department is committed to protecting life and property, providing professional police service, and strengthening partnerships. 
The Savage Police Department recently revamped the Savage Pink Patches for the Pink Patch Project and are providing a throw back patch design for 2021’s fundraiser.

St.Louis Park Police Department

The St. Louis Park Police Department is a first ring suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota located in Hennepin County. The department provides law enforcement services for a population of 49,000 residents covering 10.84 square miles. This is the first year the department has been apart of this program. We have dedicated this year's fundraising to a local charity, the Jane Brattain Breast Center. The funds will be used to help purchase a new vehicle that is used to give free mammograms to women who can't afford check ups.
