Rio Rancho Police Department

Officers of the Rio Rancho Police Department will have the option of wearing shoulder patches with pink coloring for the month of October. The patches will indicate our support for breast cancer awareness.

Anticipating that the community may also want a patch, we will partner will local individuals and businesses to raise money for the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center.
For each business or individual that contributes $220, 100 patches will be obtained. Those 100 patches will be exchanged to individuals for a $10 donation (each patch). There will be a maximum of 500 patches produced.
All of the proceeds raised will be donated to the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center from the Rio Rancho Community.
