The Kinston Police Department is located 80 miles east of Raleigh and is located in the Atlantic coastal plain region of North Carolina. The department provides law enforcement services for a population of 22,000 residents covering 18 square miles.
The department is new to the pink patch project and is hoping to raise over $1,000 in its first year.   All of the money raised will be donated to the breast cancer research foundation of UNC Lenoir.
