The City of Issaquah is situated in the foothills of the Cascade mountains just east of Seattle and serves a population of 35,000 residents.  Nicknamed Trailhead City, Issaquah is a common destination for recreation seekers, including hikers, boaters and paragliders.  The police department is comprised of forty sworn personnel, fourteen corrections officers eleven dispatchers, and four records staff.  This year's patch features the return of the Sasquatch.  The City of Issaquah uses the Sasquatch in the #LegendaryIssaquah marketing campaign and the Sasquatch is a frequent visitor and contributor to city events.  
The 2021 patch is unique in that glow in the dark thread was used in the moon and the stars.
The proceeds from the Pink Patch campaign benefit Footprints of Fight (  Footprints of Fight offers services to families who are starting or in the midst of treatment for pediatric cancer.
