Yakima Police Department

The Yakima Police Department is located in sunny Central Washington.  Yakima leads the way to the Cascade Mountains and enjoys over 300 days of sunshine, all four seasons and exceptional recreational opportunities.  Serving a population of almost 100,000 the Yakima Police Department has a dedicated staff of approximately 200 employees, over 140 of whom are sworn officers.
The Yakima Police Department is comprised of exceptional employees who have a strong desire to make a difference in the Yakima community.  The Department, along with the Yakima Police Patrolman's Association, have participated in a variety of fundraisers over the years; 2020 marks the first year of joining the official Pink Patch Project team in the fight against breast cancer.  We hope to expand the project in future years to help raise awareness to a variety of other causes.
All of the money raised by this fundraiser will stay local and be donated to The Memorial Foundation's 'Ohana Mammography Center.
Our Pink Patches can be purchased with a donation of $10 per patch, and are available at the front counter of the Yakima Police Department (200 South 3rd St, Yakima, WA).  You may also send a check, or money order, made out to the Yakima Police Patrolman's Association (YPPA); please mail checks and/or money orders to the Yakima Police Department, Attn: Officer Meyers at:
