Dane County Sheriff's Office

The Dane County Sheriff's Office is the largest law enforcement organization in Dane County, and the fourth largest in the State of Wisconsin. We continue to make strides toward becoming the most professional, efficent, and cost effective agencey employing progressive solutions to the ever-changing challenges facing our communities. Madison is the county seat in Wisconsin vibrant Capital City. It is home to the University of Wisconsin, Madison Area Technical College, and Edgewood College. Dane County is renowned for its beautiful scenery, boasting a total of five area lakes and over 200 parks providing an abundance of year-round outdoor activities. Dane County also offers citizens, and visitors alike, the "small town charm" found in many of our surrounding cities, villages, and towns.
Dane County Sheriff, Dave Mahoney was instrumental in helping Deputt Sheriff, Joan Kamholz, establish a non-profit 501(c)(3) cancer organization in 2008, called "JUSTICE FOR A CURE, following her battle with breast cancer. JFAC has been an important part of helping and supporting others battling cancer in the department, county wide, state wide and beyond. Because of Sheriff Mahoney's support, JFAC is a National Organization and has raised over $227,000.00 benefiting Cancer Research and Cancer Support Programs across the United States.
Justice For A Cure mission is to get more of the law enforcement family working together with the community to: educate, raise awareness, support cancer research & cancer support programs, support the warriors & caregivers, and honor those taken.
Justice For A Cure funds raised by selling the Dane County Sheriff's Office Pink Patch, and Justice For A Cure Pink Patch will be used for Cancer Research and Cancer Support Programs.

Village of Genoa City Police Department

With a population of around 3,000, the real Genoa City, Wisconsin is a bit smaller than it is portrayed on the Young and the Restless soap opera.  Even though the Village of Genoa City Police Department is a small agency, we pride ourselves on our numerous youth outreach programs such as DARE, Shop with a Cop, and Camp with a Cop. We are very excited to add the Pink Patch Project in 2021, as a way for us to work with the community to raise funds and awareness for a wonderful cause.
