The Berkeley Police Department is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness for the 4th year. Officers of the Berkeley Police Department will be showing support by wearing Pink Patches and pink badges to bring attention to the fight against breast cancer.
The Berkeley Police Association will be selling a similar Berkeley Police Pink Patch that contains a pink breast cancer ribbon in place of a star. This is the third year that the patches are being sold to the public with all proceeds being donated to Womenƒ??s Cancer Resource Center (2908 Ellsworth Street- Berkeley). In addition to patches, this is the first year that we will be selling?ÿPink Breast Cancer Awareness T-Shirts to the public.
The Womenƒ??s Cancer Resource Center is a local organization that creates opportunities for women with cancer to improve their quality of life through education, supportive services, and practical assistance. All services are provided FREE of charge to them.?ÿ
