The Berklee College of Music Police Department is located in Boston, Massachusetts and serves the Berklee College of Music Campus Community. The department was formed in late 2015 after conducting a security threat analysis and making the decision to implement a fully sworn police department and got rid of their previous security-only model.
Our department has 13 sworn Patrol Officers, 3 sworn Patrol Sergeants, 2 sworn Lieutenants, a sworn Captain and a sworn Chief of Police and we service a campus community of students, faculty and staff of almost 7,000 and operate 2 additional satellite campuses in both Los Angeles and Valencia, Spain.
2020 will be our department’s first year with the Pink Patch Project and with the current pandemic we are getting after the fundraising and raising awareness early! Our officers will be wearing the patches for the month of October and we are putting the patches on sale as soon as possible to maximize our campaign. Cancer has touched the families and loved ones of many of the families of our department and within our larger campus community.?ÿ
