The Chandler Police Department is 330 sworn officers strong and hiring! We are proud participants in the Pink Patch Project! This campaign allows us to share stories of some of our own sworn and professional staff that are survivors of breast cancer and also allows us to raise funds in the fight against breast cancers.
As we join the efforts of the campaign, our sworn officers are authorized during the month of October to wear authorized pink patches on their uniforms for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We promote conversations with our community members and we encourage public awareness of the early detection of the disease.
The patches will be available for purchase to the public as a collectible item. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society at the end of October. Patches will be available for purchase directly from the Chandler Police Department (250 E Chicago St, Chandler, AZ 85225) for $10 each. The following payments will be accepted at this time: cash only.
After the month of October they will be $15 dollars each.
