Description:

October is #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth and, once again, you may see Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office deputies wearing badges embroidered in pink stitching to promote breast cancer awareness. You can join us by purchasing one of our pink CCSO shoulder patches.

This year, all patch-sale proceeds will go to the Providence Willamette Falls Medical Foundation Endowment Fund for the Carol Danielson Suzuki Cancer Center.

Cancer can be a scary and emotional experience. Just when you and your family are most vulnerable, you are overwhelmed with appointments, treatments, medications, changes to your diet and more. Your patch purchase will help patients through these challenges by supporting an endowment that pays for patient navigators and other support staff whose services and programs are not covered by insurance. Patient navigators help guide cancer patients throughout their treatment process, making appointments, ensuring they get to treatments, coping with lifestyle changes, and after treatment helping them return back to their normal lives.

Ordering a patch is easy:

  1. Download an order form PDF here.
  2. Or order online by heading here and selecting “Pink Patch” as your gift application.
