Cottage Grove is a growing community in the Southeast Twin Cities metropolitan area. Our Police Department provides law enforcement services for over 35,000 residents covering an area of approximately 37 square miles. 2019 was our inaugural year with the Pink Patch Project in Minnesota and we were the first participating agency within Washington County. The Cottage Grove Public Safety Board is selling our pink patches to help raise money for public safety families who are dealing with cancer and in need of financial support. By purchasing one of our pink patches, you will help us build community relations and support our efforts to help public safety families who are battling cancer and in need for financial support.
Starting the 2021 year, we will also be selling our throwback patch. A similar style was worn by our officers in the early 1960s and is the first of our series of throwback patches. Only a limited number of these were purchased and no more will be ordered.
In 2023, we will be selling out Pink K9 patch as well as a smaller version of our standard shoulder patch.
Full size patches can be picked up during normal business hours in our police department lobby for $10 and the smaller size is $5. If shipping is requested, please contact jvanhalanger@cottagegrovemn.gov for further assistance.
Pink patches as sold to the public holds no police authority and is meant to be used as a collectible item only.
