The Cuyuna Police Department is proud to announce it is joining the Pink Patch Project in the nationwide efforts to fight breast cancer! Proudly serving the City of Cuyuna in all law enforcement needs that may arise since 2000, we are a small department with deep history and pride for our home area. Founded because of large iron ore deposits in our area the City of Cuyuna quickly grew into a mining town in the early 1900s. When the mining stopped and people left we were left with a few things, natural beauty and stories from those times that still hold value today. While trying to provide the best possible service to all people in our area we also value being able to take the steps needed to try and give back to our community that means so much to us. Being able to give back through this program by donating all money raised to the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Courage Cabinet where local people and families can get the help they need while fighting cancer means a lot to us.
