?ÿ2020 is the first year the DuPont Police Department will be participating in the Pink Patch Project.?ÿ Officers will be wearing pink patches, and pink patch decals will be displayed on patrol vehicles until the end of the year in order to promote breast cancer awareness within our community.?ÿ We are selling pink patches for $12.00 per patch, or 2 for $20.00.?ÿ 100% of the proceeds from the DuPont Police Pink Patch Project will be donated to the South Sound CARE Foundation.
The DuPont Police Department is very proud to partner with the South Sound CARE Foundation on this important project.?ÿ The South Sound CARE Foundation is a local cancer research and support organization that provides residents with cancer treatment options, which may be otherwise unavailable to them.?ÿ South Sound CAREƒ??s board includes cancer survivors and medical professionals ?ÿwho strive to eradicate this deadly disease by working together to bring clinical trials to the South Sound region.?ÿ For more information visit: https://www.southsoundcarefoundation.org/
