The Libertyville Police Department is comprised of 48 sworn and non-sworn members who provide law enforcement services for a population of approximately 20,000 residents. We are located in Lake County, which is about 37 miles north of Chicago.
This is our second year participating in the Pink Patch Project. During the month of October, Libertyville Officers will have the option to wear a pink uniform patch in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Patches can be purchased for $10 at the Libertyville Police Department, 200 East Cook Ave., Mon-Fri 7am-9pm. All proceeds will be donated to the Michael Matters Foundation.
