We are honored to announce our partnership with ‘Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center.’ We are raising money to support the variety of services they provide including support groups, wigs, prostheses, art programs, wellness classes, one-on-one support, and more. Michelle Watson, for whom the organization is named, passed away from breast cancer at the age of 26 and expressed a final wish to make these resources easily accessible to all. Her family and friends built the organization making her wish possible. Michelle’s Place provides these resources to Southern California residents diagnosed with cancer. How is LifeLine-EMS raising awareness and supporting Michelle’s Place? Lifeline-EMS has joined the Pink Patch Project to show support and spread awareness during October. The Pink Patch Project is an innovative public awareness campaign to bring attention to the fight against breast cancer and to support breast cancer research organizations in combating this devastating disease. The project is a collaborative effort between the Los Angeles County Police Chiefs’ Association and public safety agencies in Los Angeles County and beyond.
