This is Manchester by the Sea Police Department’s first year participating in the Pink Patch Project. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, the department will be selling a limited number of pink patches. Patches cost 10$ each, with all proceeds benefiting the Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF), which is committed to providing assistance throughout New England to patients of all ages, any type of cancer, who are struggling financially as a result of a cancer diagnosis. The mission of JAF is to provide help, hope, and a reason to smile when it is needed most.
Those interested in donating can stop by the police department at 10 Central St. to receive a patch or can reach out to members of the department through the Manchester by the Sea Police Department Facebook page. #PinkPatchProject
