Nestled in the eastern portion of the ozark mountain foothills is the Osage County Sheriff’s Office; located in Linn, Missouri, just 15 miles east of the capital city. We employ fifteen dedicated Deputies and Detention Officers serving just under 14,000 citizens covering 611 square miles. Osage County is surrounded by water on all sides, known for its natural beauty and many churches. Though we are small, we make a big impact on our communities.
While we are new the Pink Patch Project, we released another awareness patch in May 2019 (Purple Epilepsy Awareness in honor of Lieutenant Tiffaney Herndon). We are excited to be the first involved Missouri agency regarding this project.
We have dedicated this year’s patch to our Sheriff’s wife who began her battle with breast cancer in May 2019. This patch honors her fighting spirit! All dontations will be contributed to “Living Beyond Breast Cancer” out of Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania.
