The Polk County Sheriffƒ??s Office is pleased to announce that for the month of October, we will be showing our support for Breast Cancer Awareness with a new 2020 Breast Cancer Awareness patch.
In addition, the Polk County Sheriffƒ??s Office is competing with metro law enforcement agencies to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Greater Iowa Foundation to help fund the fight against breast cancer. With your help we raised over $1600 last year. Help us be the top fundraiser this year by purchasing a 2020 PCSO Pink Patch for $10.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office provides law enforcement services throughout Polk County, Iowa. The Sheriff’s Office is the responsible agency for unincorporated Polk County, the cities of Alleman, Bondurant, Elkhart, Grimes, Runnells, the U.S Army Corps of Engineers at Saylorville Lake and the Polk County Courthouse.

During the month of October 2019, The Polk County Sheriff’s Office sold collectible Polk County “pink patches.” All proceeds raised was presented this past November to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in Iowa. Sheriff Schneider stated, ƒ??We have had several employeesƒ?? fight this disease, and I think itƒ??s important for our agency to show our support for the survivors and those who are still fighting.ƒ? Contributions from this fundraiser will be used locally to benefit the citizens of our community.
