The St Louis Park Police Department is located just east of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Department provides law enforcement services for a population of approximately 50,000 people.
The mission of the St. Louis Park Police Department is to provide citizens with quality service, professional conduct and a safe environment in which to live, work and learn. We are committed to an active partnership with our community as we work together to solve problems and prevent crime.
The department has 58 sworn officers, six community service officers and 18 additional staff members, including administrators, support staff, dispatchers and a community liaison.
The department joined the Pink Patch Project in 2019, and we were 1 of the original 8 departments in Minnesota to be apart of the project. Since then, we have dedicated our fundraising efforts to donate to The American Cancer Society and to members of our own department who have been personally affected by Breast Cancer.
Throughout the month of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the St Louis Park Police Department uniformed personnel wear pink patches on their uniform, attend community outreach events to stimulate conversation and raise awareness of breast cancer, and sell other Breast Cancer Awareness merchandise uniquely created by our police department.
Pink Patches are available to be purchased in the Police Department lobby Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. If you are out of state or not in the area, you can reach out to Officer Holloway at aholloway@stlouispark.org.
