The Alameda County Sheriff Office is taking part in the Pink Patch Project to benefit the Women's Cancer Resource Center (WCRC) in Berkeley, California.  The WCRC creates opportunities for women with cancer to improve their quality of life through education, support services, and practical assistance.  We are truly honored to partner with such a great organization.

Alameda Police Department

The Alameda Police Department is located in the heart of Alameda at Lincoln/Oak St. The department provides law enforcement services for a population of over 80,000 residents and growing.
This is APD's second year participating in the Pink Patch Project, and all fundraising proceeds will benefit the HERS Breast Cancer Foundation. Last year we raised over $2000 for this great cause, and hope to surpass that in the 2019 fundraising year.

Allan Hancock College Police Department

 
The "Allan Hancock College Police Department" provides law enforcement and public safety services to the California Public Community College District located in northern Santa Barbara County. The Allan Hancock College Police Department serves an approximate population of 11,500 students and staff members. Allan Hancock College has a total of 4 locations of education. The main campus is located in Santa Maria, California and other locations include Lompoc, Santa Ynez, or at the Vandenberg Air Force Base.
Our department has joined the Pink Patch Project in the year of 2020. As our first year, we are hoping to contribute to this noble cause and raise awareness in any way we can. Having SURVIVORS in our department and families, we want to show our support and make a difference by raising knowledge in breast cancer awareness.

Atascadero Police Department

The Atascadero Police Department is located in northern San Luis Obispo County in California. The department provides law enforcement services for a population of roughly 30,000 residences covering an area of 26 square miles.
The Atascadero Police Association members are just taking part of the Pink Patch Project with our current fundraising efforts going towards the Relay for Life North County (American Cancer Society) as our Atascadero Police Association has participated in the event in the past and wants to support it further.

The police department will be offering a limited edition police department shoulder patch for $10.00 each. Proceeds from each sale will be donated to The Bay Area Cancer Connection.

Bell Police Department

The Bell Police Department is located approximately 6 miles southeast of Los Angeles, California. Nestled between the San Gabriel Mountains and the port of Long Beach in the southeastern portion of Los Angeles County lies the City of Bell. The Bell Police Department provides law enforcement services for a population of 36,000 residence covering 2.6 square miles.
 
We have been fortunate enough to have been part of the Pink Patch Project since 2015. Funds raised are in part for the City of Hope and to assist local families in our community who are suffering from cancer. Through this campaign, we are dedicated to; educating our community, hopeful for a cure, supporting the fighters, admiring the survivors, and remembering the taken.

Berkeley Police Department

The Berkeley Police Department is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness for the 3rd year. Officers of the Berkeley Police Department will be showing support by wearing Pink Patches and pink badges to bring attention to the fight against breast cancer.
The Berkeley Police Association will be selling a similar Berkeley Police Pink Patch that contains a pink breast cancer ribbon in place of a star. This is the second year that the patches are being sold to the public with all proceeds being donated to Women’s Cancer Resource Center (2908 Ellsworth Street- Berkeley).
The Women’s Cancer Resource Center is a local organization that creates opportunities for women with cancer to improve their quality of life through education, supportive services, and practical assistance. All services are provided FREE of charge to them.
